01Who they are

The International Solutions Group was contracted by USAID to convert an existing instructor-led Disaster Risk Reduction program into online courses.

02The challenge

Take existing in-person materials and turn them into self-paced online courses that would help leaders across Latin America and the Caribbean reduce the damage from major weather events. High-stakes, mission-driven — and my first client, so I owned all of it.

03What I did

Everything. Intake of the existing materials, mapping the online-delivery strategy, building the courses in Articulate Storyline, and deploying to their LMS.

04The outcome

A complete online Disaster Risk Reduction program built from ILT source material and delivered to regional leaders — real training toward real resilience against weather disasters.

The work

A look at the built course, plus the design documents behind it — the curriculum, the interactive activities, and the capstone project I created for USAID.
